Kristin Fougeron
Christmas is my favorite time of the year ...I go a
little overboard ...I have 20 plastic tubs of
Christmas stuff and put up 5 trees (one is even in
the bathroom) and the outside of our house is lit up
like the “Griswald’s".
-I crave every day (and usually go get) a Sonic Diet
Cherry Coke with “good ice”
-My toenails are usually painted a “funky” or “fun”
color & I have two small tattoos on my right foot
Hi . . . My Name is Kristin from Cypress, Texas and
I have been married for 17 years to a wonderful man
and have two boys named Zane & Colton who are
usually the center of my pictures. They are both the
light of my life!!!
I
have been scrapbooking for around 8 years and have
been teaching for about 2 year, my friends say my
style is more chunky shabby chic and the world
around me inspires me.... if you just look around
you will see all the colors!!!
My favorite saying, ”Life brings simple pleasures to
us every day, it is up to us to make them wonderful
memories.”
Kim Hackworth
I'm
a stay-at-home mom to 1 daughter, 2 boys, and 2 cats
and a wife to an accountant who tries to put me on a
budget. I also teach rubberstamping when time
permits. I started scrapbooking in 1999 when my
daughter was born. My sister was pregnant at the
same time as me and she had ordered a scrapbook
series from Parenting Magazine. I was looking for a
baby book that was different from everyone else’s
and she didn’t like her scrapbook. I ended up with
it. After a couple of shipments, I realized I could
do everything on my own and went on a shopping
trip. That’s all it took and I’ve been obsessed
ever since! I resisted stamping for a long time too
since I already had a hobby but that was all over
the minute a stamp was placed in my hand! Although
my primary goal is preserving my family’s memories,
I also love to create for me. This is my time to
relax and put my life into perspective. I’m more
appreciative of what I have now because I’m
recording all I can. I’m very grateful for my hobby
and for the friends I’ve made through it.

Terri Hayes
My name is Terri
Hayes. I
live in North Carolina and am a SAHM with
two kids, a husband and a goldendoodle. I
like to hang out with my family and dog,
read, listen to music, plan vacations, and
of course scrap.
I have been
scrapbooking for about 7 years, and I love
to create pages, cards and altered items.
I love scrapbooking because it is a
combination of things I have enjoyed my
entire life; specifically photography,
designing and writing. I learned how to
develop my own pictures in a dark room in
7th grade and I have been taking pictures
every since. Although I don't develop film
anymore (I've gone digital), I still love
keeping a visual record of my life. I've
always been a writer. In school it meant
yearbook and the school journal, as an adult
it meant 15 years as a technical writer.
Scrapbooking has allowed me to keep doing
these things I love in a creative,
fulfilling way.
I think my style is
traditional with a twist. I really want my
pages to be beautiful and stand the test of
time; at the same time I like to
find creative ways to use products. I love
to layer and use color to create a mood, and
I enjoy trying new techniques.
I
have been published (or will soon be
published) by Creating Keepsakes, Simple
Scrapbooks, Memory Makers, Scrapbook
Trends, Paper Trends and Cards, as well
as several idea books and online
publications. I look forward to being
part of the wonderful community at
Serendipity Scrapbooks.

Vanessa Haynes
Hello! I am married to my best
friend Steve and we live on the gorgeous
northern Oregon coast. We just moved here last
summer to our little town of 700 and it sure is
a nice change! We have two wonderful little
girls who are 12 and 1, and are all kinds of fun
to take pictures of! We also share our world
with our three dogs and three cats. One thing I
never am is bored!
I am an obsessive scrapper, and
it is very rare for a day to go by without me
doing something crafty! While I still love
making layouts, I have discovered altering, card
making and mini books and have fallen in love!
I love to showcase all of our family memories
and create things for others that they will love
and treasure!
Besides scrapping I love to explore our
new home, read and watch baseball!Steve and I
are obsessive Chicago Cubs fans and baseball
is something that we all share together as a
family! I am also a hopeless TV addict!
I am so excited to be a part of the team at
Serendipity Scrapbooks! It issuch a fun and
welcoming community with wonderful products to
offer
Mimi Leinbach
Hi, my name is Mimi Leinbach and I
am 36 years old. Yikes! I am a SAHM to 2 soccer
loving boys Nick(9) and Jack(6) and when I am not
scrapping I can be sure to be found at a soccer game
or helping out at school. I have been married to
Josh for almost 13 years. He has given me the
freedom to indulge myself in this hobby and I just
adore him for it.
You could say I am obsessed, completely and totally.
I have been scrapping for 9+ years now and I would
say my style is ever changing. I like to try every
technique at least once and some a lot more. I am a
chipboard fanatic and love to use it on almost every
layout. I also have a passion for patterned paper,
to which I just can't seem to get enough. I have
been published several times in Memory Makers
Magazine and Books as well as Scrapbooking and
Beyond magazine. I design and teach classes for a
store in the area and can't wait to be working with
Kristen and the Design Team here at Serendipity
Scrapbooks.
Melonie Madison
Hi everyone! I'm Melonie. I live in NY with my Husband
Elliott, our Son Evan, Daughter Marlee, and our Bulldog
Chewy. They are my full time job right next to collector
of all things paper and bling. I have been scrapping
avidly for about 5 years but I'm a cutter, paster, and
ticket stub saver from way back. I guess you can say I
was born a Scrapper!
Stacey McCall
Hello everyone. My name is Stacey
McCall and I have been scrapping for the past 8
years. I am a married stay at home mom to
three wonderful children and two grandchildren. I
love to scrap because it is what keeps my sanity.
My wonderful husband is very supportive of my
habit......... hmmmm........hobby! He takes
interest in all of the creative altered items that
he loves so much as well as my journaled pages.
I am a technique junkie and love to
try new techniques on my layouts. Not sure exactly
what you would categorize my style because it is
always evolving and changing. So right now I would
call it simple with lots of flair!
This will be my third term here with
Serendipity Scrapbooks and is truly my second home.
The first being where I lay my head. I love being
the Design Team Coordinator and member of such a
wonderful team. Helping the other team members
inspire you as much as possible while bringing out
their creative side really brings me great joy.
I hope to continue to inspire you during this new
term as much as you inspire me on a daily basis.
Wendi Robinson
HEY there!!! My
name is Wendi Robinson and I am such a scrappin
addict. I just LOVE scrap product- flowers, rub ons,
bling, flourishes, and anything new.. I feel like
I've really found what I love to do, and have made
it my passion. I think about it 24/7 and am totally
consumed by this hobby, and am totally ok with that.
I am a wife to
my Hot Man, Jeremy and been married almost 10 years,
and mommy to Austin and Sydney who bring me sooo
much joy and happiness. I love being a mom and
taking care of my family. I also work part time as
an account clerk for the school district. My
favorite things that I can not live without are:
Diet Cherry Pepsi, Reese's anything, ipod, music
(esp. Depeche Mode), and love driving my Scion XB,
which my kids call the 'fast car'.
I've been
scrapping on and off for about 7 years, but really
got addicted about 3 1/2 years ago and never looked
back. I love trying new scrap techniques and am a
challenge junkie, I love applying what I've learned
and then making it my own. I am sooo excited when
new product comes out and can't wait to create with
it. I would say my style is usually muted colors,
lots of inking, lots of cutwork- I love cutting out
images from papers and then applying it on my page,
and added fun embellishments. Sometimes I overload a
page, sometimes I add just what needs to be there,
but I usually have a clean style overall.
I'm soooo
excited to be part of the team here and working with
this bunch of talented ladies.
Ellen Sosnoski
Hi Everyone! I am Ellen Sosnsoki.
I live in a small town in Northeast Pennsylvania
called Paxinos with my son~Owen, husband~Brian
and our two dogs~Max {chocolate Lab} and~Chase
{boxer}. Even though I am a city girl at heart,
the country has been a good change of pace for
me. I have been blessed with the opportunity to
slow down a bit and spend more time with my
family, new friends and scrapping, of course! I
started stamping shortly after my son was born
almost 4 years ago and it naturally evolved into
scrapbooking a few years later. I only scrapped
once every few months when I had the time but I
was very lucky to be able to take some time off
of full time employment in September of 2006.
It was then that I started scrapbooking more and
more and realized that this is my passion.
Right now I work Part Time as a
Mobile Therapist for children with behavioral
issues and it could not be more rewarding. I
feel so blessed in my life right now, I could
not be happier. Being part of the team here at
Serendipity Scrapbooks is a dream. I just love
this place with all my heart.
When it comes to scrapbooking I
sure pour a lot of my heart and soul into
everything I do. My husband pops his head in a
lot because I am often laughing or crying while
I am in my room working! My style has been
simplifying. I am finding that less is more for
me right now and that big flowers and buttons
really make me happy. I truly believe if you
just put all you have into something it is
beautiful no matter what.
Kristen Simmonds
I am the owner of Serendipity
Scrapbooks and I am thrilled to
have such talent on this team. I
hope to add layouts for the site
and kits here and there. I
have been married to my husband
Rob for 16 years and we have two
children. Zack is 13, a TEEN, &
very bright, and Kendall who is
8 and is so wonderful exactly
what we wanted sweet, bright,
funny but she tends to have the
family trait of stubbornness!
We also have the most fabulous
dog, a Boston Terrier, Harley
who is 2 yrs. I am an artist at
heart. I have done artwork since
I was a toddler, I love color,
texture and all art forms.
I have a degree in clothing
design, with a strong background
in art. I have taken some
classes in Interior Design and
was even a part of the Colored
Pencil Society of America. My
closest claim to fame is having
a piece of my colored pencil
work hanging in a local gallery.
I have been scrapbooking for about 13
years, I tend to be a lumpy,
bumpy, kind of designer.
However, when working with new
scrappers I have the ability to
help them keep it simple ( even
if I personally can't figure
that one out!) I hope you
all love what these designers
create for you and join us in
the forum for more tips,
techniques, inspiration and
encouragement!
